One of the things I like about Dark Magician Girl and Magician's Valkyria is the way they both bypass the stereotype...at least I know DMG does.
From the normal Blonde Hair & Blue Eyes and Red Hair and Green Eyes...DMG = Blonde & Green Eyes, and Valkyria = Red Hair & Blue eyes.
Being their outfits are designed off a similar fashion, I think you did a very nice job drawing this, like you draw DMG. ^^
